Mission:

The Enloe Water Polo Academy delivers water polo coaching certification where coaches, from novice to high performance, have the exhibited skill sets to be able to deliver improved individual and team water polo standards in positive team environments.

Coaching Certification is offered at 3 levels:
1.     Development Level: for coaches new to the sport at a junior level.
2.     Tactical Level: For coaches who have mastered the basics and want to advance their skills in tactical, team organization and seasonal planning.
3.     High performance: for coaches to deliver programs at an elite level taking into consideration physical, mental and team cohesion with multiple season planning and the ability to link each aspect towards long term team or club goals and objectives.

Certification Requirements
Certification can be gained by attended Enloe Academy Clinics and has a two part requirement.
1.     Live assessment through observations while coaching (typically at camps)
2.     Digital assignment assigned post the live assessment or verbal assessment at live camps. This component is based on to further enhancing or bedding down the skill sets already observed during live assessment

Observations which are assessed include:
·      Communication skills delivered at live sessions
·      Ability to relate with players and their different learning styles
·      Ability to set individual programs for skill enhancement or water polo specific fitness
·      Understanding of dry land activities
·      Fitness specific to water polo taking into account age group and team aspirations
·      Enhancing individual skills
·      Tactical elements of creating programs for offence and defence
·      How to create team cohesion and positive culture
